$2 million gift Received by the Fred Fox School of Music

The Fred Fox School of Music in the College of Fine Arts of the University of Arizona announced that it has received a $2 million gift to support both the Graduate String Quintet program and to add to the endowment of the Jeffrey Haskell Recording Studio. The announcement of the gift from Sheldon Danielson was made at a Fred Fox School of Music faculty meeting today.

Ed Reid named new Director of UA School of Music

The University of Arizona College of Fine Arts in Tucson has named Edward Reid as the new director of the Fred Fox School of Music. Distinguished University Outreach Professor Edward Reid, a professor at the University of Arizona since 1994, and former principal trumpet of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra assumed his new position on January 5, 2015.
